 ity • Understand the emergency planning process<br />• Understand emergenc
 y management principles<br />• Lead others during an incident<br />The cou
 rse focuses on 27 tasks and skills that have been identified as essential 
 to the role of the HEC and is delivered&nbsp\;using lecture\, facilitated 
 discussion\, performance-based training\, and practical exercise instructi
 on. Students will also&nbsp\;receive a Student Handbook and an E-Resource 
 containing comprehensive reference material.</p>\n<p>Recommended for Basic
  CHEC:</p>\n<p>FEMA IS-100 or IS-100.HCb: Introduction to&nbsp\;Incident C
